years ago and healed many of her back injuries because of yoga. "I have also healed my mind as
well. I use the yoga practice on
the mat to help me with all other areas of life that need a little more
light
and fun. That healing and
lightness and fun is what I want to bring into my classes.
I'm excited to see you on the
mat!," she says.

Chantal O'Sullivan, believes every day
is better once you take time to unroll your mat and she brings her
enthusiasm and love of yoga to every class she teaches:
Yoga should be
fun,
she often says. So it is no surprise that she thinks Smile-asana is a
very key
pose and this is something to practice on and off the mat.
She is a 2011 lululemon ambassador for Lululemon's Oakridge's store — and really loves trying out new leggings and yoga tops. (And the feedback she gets from her students.)
When
she's not found sharing yoga, you'll often find her writing. As a reporter,
she's covered everything from fashion to fraud. Now she's working on
getting her first book (fiction!) published.

* Prenatal yoga teacher and certified birth doula Majessa Castonguay (co-owner of North Vancouver's Maa Yoga) had the joy of
growing up on a cattle ranch in the Cariboo region of B.C.; the wonder
of the natural world has been part of the tapestry of her life and
central to her inevitable draw to yoga. Her path brought her to
Vancouver where she has had the honor of studying with some of the
finest yoga instructors in Canada. Watching the visible effects
yoga has on people, Majessa was mesmerized and inspired to learn this
art. Springing from her own practice and sense of peace, Majessa is now
teaching a variety of yoga styles in Hatha, Yin, Vinyasa, Prenatal and
Restorative as well as accompanying women on their journey to motherhood
as a Certified Birth Doula. Passionately central to her teaching is the
sure knowledge that through breath, movement and open-heartedness the
inner self is discovered.
