New to yoga?
Come on in. Our Tsawwassen-based yoga studio is friendly, welcoming and easy going.

We love yoga and we love teaching yoga, an ancient practice that is perfect for our modern lives. Whether you've been practicing for years or you've never unrolled a mat before, we offer a class for you. 

Still nervous?
You've taken the first step by logging on to our website. Now visit us at our studio, at Windsor Woods in Tsawwassen (near the Starbucks) and see for yourself why we all love yoga.

Remember:
Your practice is as challenging, or as easy, as you'd like it to be. Classes are open level, but Hatha or "gentle" hatha or restorative classes are great places to start your journey into your yoga practice. Be open-minded. Ask questions. Let us help.

In the meantime, here's a few tips to make your first few moments in the studio a little easier.

Studio etiquette:


  • Be at least 5 min early to class. Enter and leave the studio quietly.
    • (First-timers? Come 10 minutes early so you can fill in a waiver. Get comfortable and take a look around your new yoga studio.)

  • Shoe-free, phone-free zone. Leave your shoes at the entrance; mobile phone turned off and hidden away. We have great little storage cubbies at the back of the studio for stuffing your extra stuff, like coats and so on, so you can keep the studio clutter-free.

  • Be mindful: Not just in your own yoga practice, but in how you treat the studio space and your fellow students. Please: Avoid heavy perfumes or scents. Be neat, quiet and mindful as you enter and leave. 


  • Yoga is NOT a "no pain, no gain" pursuit. It should feel good. Never, never painful.
    • Listen to your body and go slow.
    • If this is a new thing for you, accept that you are starting a "yoga practice" not a "yoga perfect." Go forward from there. And smile.
    • You know your body best but please advise your teacher about any health issue or injury and consult your physician before starting any new activity, like yoga.
